Sponsor Josefa for the April 17th, 2010 Art-a-Thon!

"I think that last year’s Art-a-thon was the beginning of me getting well. So being well this
year means I’m determined to spread creative well-being (and be really competitive in asking
for pledges to meet my goal: 100 pledges @ $1/hour for 10 hours = $1,000!). My beloved
husband, family, and friends have always been supportive of ArtSeed (my extended family).
Without you ArtSeed would not exist. For ArtSeed to grow, however, we need to spread
theword. So I have promised myself to get up my nerve and offer perfect strangers a chance
to spread well-being through me at next month’s ArtSeed Art-a-thon (for little more than their
bus fare)! Thank you all for sharing life’s valuable delights (especially the small and precious

How it works:
Art-a-thoners volunteer their time on April 17th, 2010 to help raise funds for a cause they believe in:
Art Education! Funds raised will go to scholarships for youth to ArtSeed's 2010 Fine Arts Summer
Intensive and Artist Apprenticeship Program. Both programs connect youth with artists in a collaborative
studio setting with an emphasis on long term one-to-one mentorships.

To sponsor a participant, email them directly (josefa@artseed.org) and include:

1. your pledge amount per hour (example: $1 per hour) or flat rate pledges are also welcome.
2. your name
3. email address and/or phone number
4. mailing address.

Pledge for $1 per hour on up. After the event, ArtSeed will send you a letter to redeem the promised
tax-deductable donation. Thank you for making a difference!
